Bristol Short Story Prize

My cover design for the Bristol Short Story Prize Anthology Volume 5.
I seem to be slightly hooked on making massive yet fiddly illustrations out of paper and glue
at the moment.

D&AD

My piece for the Little White Lies magazine cover as part of the D&AD student competition this year.

Progress.

This is finally one of the final pieces for my narrative 'Night Fishing' I have been working on since November... only another 31 to go.

London Fashion Week...

Two more shoots I worked on with Isamaya French during London Fashion week. Seriously fun and frantic two days, in both cases working on 15/16 models in a couple of hours before catwalks and shoots.

More photos to follow.

On the table...

My response to a brief called 'On The Table', draw whatever you want, plain background, based on a word. Mine is based on 'mechanical'.

i-D Magazine

In November I helped out on a photo shoot for i-D magazine. It was directed by Simon Foxton and I was working on make-up art with Isamaya French. It was completely new to anything I had done but the whole experience was really exciting and it was awesome to be accredited and see some of my work in i-D magazine (pages 198-207).

I have since worked with Isamaya again during London fashion week so there will me similar photos posted soon. Her work is awesome http://isamayaffrench.com/ and she also happens to be a bit of a champ in general.

Venue Magazine

It's been a while since I've posted (I know) but this is because I am working on a number of long term projects and my website which will be finished in the following month or so.

Here is a piece I entered for a competition to design the front cover for venue magazine, based on the phrase "Does Shakespeare still matter?"

Although I didn't win the cover I did get printed in the magazine along with some fellow Bristol UWE illustrators which was pretty cool.
